When is the Uefa Europa League draw? Can I watch it on TV? Time, date, channel and more

The draw for the last 16 of the Uefa Europa League takes places this afternoon.

As some of Europe’s leading clubs look to continue their path towards the final in Baku.

Chelsea booked their place in the last 16 with a thumping 5-1 aggregate win over Malmo.

While Arsenal roared back from last week’s 1-0 defeat away at BATE Borisov to progress with a comfortable 3-0 win at the Emirates.

With the battle for a top-four spot in the Premier League so tight, both English sides will see the Europa League as an opportunity to secure a Champions League berth – and perhaps start to shift focus as the competition enters its business end.

When is the Europa League draw?

The draw takes place on Friday, February 22. The draw is scheduled to start at midday GMT.

Unlike in the previous round, the draw is stand-alone, and does not follow a Champions League equivalent as Europe’s premier club competition is midway through its last 16 stage.

There is no seeding or rule preventing sides from the same country facing each other, so both Chelsea and Arsenal could face any of the 15 other teams left in the competition.
