Manchester City vs Arsenal are going to be one among the primary games back for the Premier League season.

Exactly 100 days after the last taste of Premier League action, England’s top flight returns on Wednesday

and therefore the headline fixture of the primary night back sees champions Manchester City welcome Arsenal to the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City vs Arsenal –

The contest has already been rearranged twice this season and was the primary Premier League match to be postponed as a results of

the coronavirus pandemic after Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta – gearing up for his first return to the Etihad – tested positive for COVID-19.

Following the newest shareholders’ meeting and Project Restart discussions, the return of top-flight action cleared the last hurdle

and can be headlined by the sport at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, June 17 after Aston Villa host Sheffield United.

There will be many changes to what Premier League fans have come to understand and expect from the gorgeous game,

–  Manchester City vs Arsenal-

with the stands set to be almost completely empty barring officials as fans are kept away and five substitutes allowed from nine players on the bench.

But Mikel Arteta – who contracted Covid-19 himself back in March – are going to be prepared to lock horns together with his former

boss Pep Guardiola as City and therefore the Gunners prepare to kick-start the season.

Arteta’s side are yet to taste a Premier League defeat this civil year – the longest ongoing unbeaten run within the division –

while they need kept three clean sheets in their last four league games, which is as many as they managed in their previous 23 before that.

The stoppage live will have stunted that momentum, but it’ll have also given Arteta longer to impose his ideas and playing style on the squad which,

judging by the development they need made under the Spaniard thus far , can only be an honest thing.

It is now almost a year since Leroy Sane last played for Man City – within the Community Shield in August – but the German winger is now able to return having missed the whole 2019-20 campaign thus far .

Aguero’s record against Arsenal could see him chosen to steer the road before Gabriel Jesus,

Arsenal have also seen variety of injury concerns clear up within the day off ,

with Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney back available and loanee Cedric Soares finally in contention to form his debut.

Calum Chambers remains sidelined for now, but Lucas Torreira is back on the training pitch and will feature having made good strides in his recovery from a fractured ankle.

The futures of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have regularly been within the headlines during lockdown,

and therefore the latter could break a club record should he enhance his Golden Boot chances by scoring at the Etihad.

The Gabon international has netted 49 times in 75 Premier League games for Arsenal and will become the club’s fastest to succeed in

the half-century milestone – a record currently held by Thierry Henry, who mentioned 50 goals in 83 games.
