Barnet are looking for a second successive Championship scalp after beating Sheffield United in the last round.

But Frank, whose side are unbeaten in seven matches in all competitions, said it would be a “massive disappointment” if Brentford do not progress.

After relegation from League Two this season, everything has been going wrong for Barnet.

They are nearing the bottom of the table in the National League and most probably end their FA Cup run in this upcoming match.

A 4 match unbeaten run was active for them before the recent defeats to Braintree in the National League.

They are not so bad at scoring as they have scored a goal per game in the league games so far.

The previous round of the FA Cup saw them defeat Sheffield United with a hint of luck.

A first-half penalty goal settled the game and made them progress to the last 32 of the Cup.

Brentford vs Gillingham Team news

Currie will be without goalkeeper Mark Cousins, who is suspended after he was sent off in the third minute of last weekend’s 4-0 defeat at Braintree.

Teenage Latvian ‘keeper Rihards Matrevics, signed from West Ham in the summer, is set for his full debut.

Championship Brentford are still without midfielders Emiliano Marcondes and Lewis Macleod.

Marcondes is battling back from an ankle injury and Macleod has a hamstring problem.

Frank will make changes with goalkeeper Luke Daniels set for a run-out along with Moses Odubajo and Sergi Canos. Defender Chris Mepham this week completed a £12m switch to Premier League Bournemouth.
