Palace, now with the oldest manager in PL history in Roy Hodgson, face a Leicester side that sits one place and five points

better off in the table following consecutive defeats to top-six opposition in Manchester United and Tottenham.

Claude Puel’s Foxes are on a six-match winless run across all competitions and have not tasted victory since beating Everton 1-0 on New Year’s Day.

Jamie Vardy could return for Leicester as they look to end a six-match winless run in all competitions when they host Crystal Palace on Saturday (kick-off 5.30pm).

Vardy was surprisingly left out of the starting line-up for the Foxes’ 3-1 loss to Tottenham last time out. He missed a penalty and then scored after coming off the bench.

The Foxes have slipped down to 12th in the Premier League following a run of four defeats in their last five league matches.

Palace is one place and five points behind Leicester in the table.
